Matt
McCoun is a Regional Vice President with Meridian Insurance Group. His area of
expertise is improving the overall risk profile of his clients to maximize
available coverage per premium dollar.He has over 7 years of experience in the
insurance industry, selling and servicing both property & casualty and employee
benefits.He began his career with Federated Mutual Insurance. As a marketing
representative with Federated Insurance, he specialized in managing risk
retention strategies and loss prevention procedures for a wide variety of
industries. In 2006, Matt had the opportunity to join Wachovia Insurance
Services in Atlanta. His responsibilities included the services of individual
account program design, coverage placement, as well as the continued maintenance
of all brokered insurance products.Matt is a native Floridian, graduating from
the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sport
Science. He is also active in the community where he serves on the board of a
not for profit cancer research foundation.
