Keith is a veteran Property and Casualty Insurance professional with 18 years of sales, service and risk management experience. As a fourth generation South Floridian, Keith has deep roots in our community, and has been a steadfast supporter of not only the Independent Agency System, but many Professional, Charitable, and Civic organizations.

Keith started his insurance career as a producer in his father’s small Independent Agency, Best Insurance, in 1989. The agency located in Pompano Beach, Florida grew rapidly after Keith’s arrival and in 1994 he and his father became founding partners in Cypress Insurance Group. Keith was involved in all aspects of Cypress’s operation, from Management, Sales, Risk Management, Insurance Company Relations, and Human Resources. Cypress grew significantly over the next 10 years until Keith’s father’s retirement in 2004. Keith then merged his agency into Setnor Byer Bowman in Plantation, Florida where he would spend the next 4 years cultivating sales opportunities and providing Risk Management services to clients of the agency. In 2007, Keith had the opportunity to join a relatively new firm with some well established Insurance entrepreneurs in Boca Raton, Fl. Meridian Insurance Group was born of true Insurance professionals in 2003, and presented Keith with an opportunity he could not pass up. As a senior sales and Risk Consultant Keith is responsible for the Boca Raton locations new business production as well as account management.

Keith is a cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama Business/Risk Management School, past President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Broward County, and a past Director of the Florida Association of Insurance Agents. Keith has spent his entire career not only providing the utmost in personal service for his clients, but also promoting the healthiest, most competitive climate for the insurance industry in Florida. Keith is also a past Director of The Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County, past President of the Pompano Beach Exchange Club, and a past Trustee of The First Presbyterian Church of Pompano Beach.
